The Golden Stout is a fun style to undertake! There are no dark malts in the beer when it is brewed, though there are lots of oats to give it a creamy body. The roast and chocolate flavours normally associated with dark malt in a stout are instead infused using cacao, coffee, and vanilla during the fermentation. The result is a creamy amber ale with lots of chocolatey flavour and aroma, and a touch of roast from the coffee!
